“ Decent restaurant, I’ve always thought the food was good. Pretty great service too. Definitely recommend their French toast. ”
“ Came to have a snack in the afternoon. Had kaya french toast and Hong Kong style street rice rolls. A wonderful snack to make my day! ”
“ This place always has been my favourite place for fried rice. This time iI tried something new, a crispy chicken cutlet. And it’s really amazing. Boneless deep fried chicken with your choice of sauce and rice AND stir fried veggies for 15 is hard to beat nowadays During busy time like lunch, the order can take bit long so be prepared. I waited about 20-ish minutes for my order. But was sure worth the waiting. ”
“ I am a bit surprised to find a taste so close to Hong Kong’s tea restaurant, especially the beef flat noodles (5 stars). Curry is good (4 stars). Again, authentic HK fast food shop taste. The pork chop veggie rice is ok, but can be better if they can make a better caramelized crust. French toast is excellent (5 stars). Hong Kong style milk tea (4 stars). The only issue - too much carb. Shop is situated next to a wine shop with an excellent selection. A lot of boutique stuff. Recommend window shop after meal to burn some calories. ”
“ This restaurant is a gem so close to home. It’s our family’s go-to restaurant for authentic Cantonese food from Hong Kong, we go there at least once a week! Our favourites include Hainan Chicken Rice, Hungarian spicy tomato beef stew ( I know, Cantonese version ), stir fried ho fan (flat noodles) with beef, beef satay noodle soup, their crispy noodles are also very good. We also love their congees. The HK milk tea hits the spot with a good balance of milk & tea, nice and hot! Today we had the chicken rice, beef flat noodles & milk tea. The venue is bright and clean, and the staff very friendly and efficient, we always feel welcome here. Thank you guys, keep up the good work! ”
“ We used Rice Bowl Deluxe for our Healthy Hunger fun lunch at school today. The delivery was right on time and very efficient. The employees were very friendly and the food was labelled and organized. The food was hot and delicious! ”
“ Great spot for authentic Hong Kong style Chinese dishes. They also have a variety of other Asian dishes, along with many daily specials. The place is very clean and the service is quick and friendly. If you are looking for something fancy, i wouldn't recommend this place. But something good and quick, this is definitely the place to go. Will definitely be returning to try the other items. ”
“ We moved close to the location on 149 St a couple years ago, and this Rice Bowl Deluxe has become our go to restaurant. We love the HK Menu, so many items are so excellent! And the HK milk tea today was perfect Hot, good balance of tea & milk, soooo good. Today we had the Hungarian Spicy Tomato Beef Stew and the Singapore Noodles. They were so fresh and well seasoned, just right. Sorry we couldn’t wait to have some of the noodles before taking the picture! The staff there Theo, Kenneth and Lamma are very friendly and provided excellent service, they made us feel at home. The venue is always bright and clean. Thank you everyone for an excellent job! ”
